The Black Farmer

I am the only black farmer in the UK. I have a brand of food products under my label 'The Black Farmer'. All my products are gluten free - British sausages, dry cure bacon, chicken + bbq chicken and ham. I believe that people who have a wheat and gluten intolerance should not be condemned to a life of bland, tasteless foods.

In the UK my brand is now part of the mainstream market. The brand has grown with strong consumer support and its continuing success is dependent on more people asking for The Black Farmer in the supermarkets. I also run a scholarship scheme that encourages city dwellers to discover their rural side. This is an annual scheme run in conjunction with Cirencester Agricultural College.
